To and too

Client: “Well it’s lucky I’m fun to, that also helps.”

Me: ‘to’, the spelling is ‘too’. Idea: when you want to use the word ‘too’ replace it with ‘as well’. I’ve taught that trick to hundreds of people and it is a game-changer for many.

Just try it a few times, once it’s become muscle memory you won’t get confused by ‘to/too’ ever again.

It’s the same as my bête noir, the word ‘just’. A fellow wordsmith pointed out how often I used/abused/overused it. It is no longer part of my lexicon, and my sentences are so much betterer for it.
